धृष्टद्युम्न उवाच दुर्योधनो दुर्विषहो दुर्मुखो दुष्प्रधर्षणः। विविंशतिर्विकर्णश्च सहो दुःशासनस्तथा॥
Dhrishtadyumna said : Duryodhana, Durvishaha, Durmukha, Dushpradharshana, Vivignshati, Vikarna, Saha, Dushasana,
युयुत्सुर्वायुवेगश्च भीमवेगरवस्तथा। उग्रायुधो बलाकी च करकायुर्विरोचनः॥
Yuyutsu, Vayuvega, Bhima, Vegarava, Ugrayudha, Balaki, Karakayu, Virochana,
कुण्डकश्चित्रसेनश्च सुवर्चाः कनकध्वजः। नन्दको बाहुशाली च तुहुण्डो विकटस्तथा॥
Sukundala, Chitrasena, Suvarcha, Kanakadhvaja, Nandaka, Bahushali, Tuhunda, Vikata,
एते चान्ये च बहवो धार्तराष्ट्रा महाबलाः। कर्णेन सहिता वीरास्त्वदर्थं समुपागताः॥
These and others are the greatly powerful sons of Dhritarashtra. These heroes have all come with Karna for your hands.
असंख्याता महात्मानः पार्थिवाः क्षत्रियर्षभाः। शकुनिः सौबलश्चैव वृषकोऽथ बृहद्बलः॥
Numerous other illustrious kings, the best of Kshatriyas,. (have also come for you). Shakuni, Saybala, Vrishaka, Brihadbala,
एते गान्धारराजस्य सुताः सर्वे समागताः। अश्वत्थामा च भोजश्च सर्वशस्त्रभृतां वरौ॥
These sons of the king of Gandhara have also come. The foremost of all wielders of arms, Ashvathama and Bhoja.
समवेतौ महात्मानौ त्वदर्थे समलंकृतौ। बृहन्तो मणिमांश्चैव दण्डधारश्च पार्थिवः॥
Have come hero adorned with every ornament. The kings, Brihanta, Manimana, Dandadhara,
सहदेवजयत्सेनौ मेघसंधिश्च पार्थिवः। विराटः सह पुत्राभ्यां शड्वेनैवोत्तरेण च॥
Sahadeva, Jayatsena, Meghasandhi, Virata with his two sons, Sankhya and Uttara,
वार्द्धक्षेमिः सुशर्मा च सेनाबिन्दुश्च पार्थिवः। सुकेतुः सह पुत्रेण सुनाम्ना च सुवर्चसा॥
Vardhakshemi, Susharma, Senabindu, Suketu with his two sons, Sunamana and Suvarcha,
सुचित्रः सुकुमारश्च वृकः सत्यधृतिस्तथा। सूर्यध्वजो रोचमानो नीलचित्रायुधस्तथा॥
Suchitra, Sukumara, Vrika, Satyadhriti, Suryadhvaja, Rochamana, Nila, Chitrayudha,
अंशुमांश्चेकितानश्च श्रेणिमांश्च महाबलः। समुद्रसेनपुत्रश्च चन्द्रसेनः प्रतापवान्॥
Angshumana, Chekitana, the mighty Srinimana, Chandrasena, the son of the mighty Subhadrasena both the father and the son,
जलसंधः पितापुत्रौ विदण्डो दण्ड एव च। पौण्ड्रको वासुदेवश्च भगदत्तश्च वीर्यवान्॥
Jalasandha, Vidanda, Danda, Paundraka, Vasudeva, the mighty Bhagadatta,
कालिङ्गस्ताम्रलिप्तश्च पत्तनाधिपतिस्तथा। मद्रराजस्तथा शल्यः सहपुत्रो महारथः॥
Kalinga, Tamralipta, the king of Pattana, the king of Madra, the great car-warrior Shalya with his son,
रुक्माङ्गदेन वीरेण तथा रुक्मरथेन च। कौरव्यः सोमदत्तश्च पुत्राश्चास्य महारथाः॥
The heroic Rukmangada, Rukmaratha, Somadatta of the Kuru race with his three sons,
समवेतास्त्रयः शूरा भूरिभूरिश्रवाः शलः। सुदक्षिणश्च काम्बोजो दृढधन्वा च
All great heroic and car-warriors, all these have assembled here. Bhuri, Bhurishrava, Sala, Sudakshina, Kamboja, the Paurava Dridadhnava,
बृहद्बलः सुषेणश्च शिबिरौशीनरस्तथा। पटच्चरनिहन्ता च कारूषाधिपतिस्तथा॥
Brihadbala, Sushena, Shibi, the son of Ushinara, Pataccharnihanta, the king of Karusha,
संकर्षणो वासुदेवो रौस्मिणेयश्च वीर्यवान्। साम्बश्च चारुदेष्णश्च प्राधुम्निः सगदस्तथा॥ पौरवः॥
Sankarshana, (Baladeva) Vasudeva (Krishna), the mighty son of Rukmini, Samba, Charudeshna, the son of Pradyumna, Gada,
अक्रूरः सात्यकिश्चैव उद्धवश्च महामतिः। कृतकर्मा च हार्दिक्यः पृथुर्विपृथुरेव च॥
Akrura, Satyaki, the high-souled Uddhava, Kritavarma, the son of Hridika, Pritha, Vipritha,
विदूरथश्च करुश्च शरुश्च सगवेषणः। आशावहोऽनिरुद्धश्च शमीकः सारिमेजयः॥
Viduratha, Kamka, Shanku, Gaveshna, Ashavaha, Aniruddha, Shamika, Sarimejaya,
वीरो वातपतिश्चैव झिल्लीपिण्डारकस्तथा। उशीनरश्च विक्रान्तो वृष्णयस्ते प्रकीर्तिताः॥
Heroic Vatapati, Jhilli, Pindaraka, the powerful Ushinara, all these are known as Vrishnis,
भागीरथो बृहत्क्षत्रः सैन्धवश्च जयद्रथः। बृहद्रथो बाह्निकश्च श्रुतायुश्च महारथः॥
Bhagiratha, Brihatkshatra, the son of Sindhu, Jayadratha, Brihadratha, Balhika, the great car-warrior Shrutayu,
उलूकः कैतवो राजा चित्राङ्गदशुभाङ्गदौ। वत्सराजश्च मतिमान् कोसलाधिपतिस्तथा॥
Uluka, Kaitava, Chitrangada, Subhangada, the intelligent Vatsaraja, the king of Kosala,
शिशुपालश्च विक्रान्तो जरासंधस्तथैव च। एते चान्ये च पहवो नानाजनपदेश्वराः॥
Shishupala, the Powerful Jarasandha, these and many other kings, of many countries,
त्वदर्थमागता भद्रे क्षत्रियः प्रथिता भुवि। एते भेत्स्यन्ति विक्रान्तास्त्वदर्थे लक्ष्यमुत्तमम्। विध्येत य इदं लक्ष्यं वरयेथाः शुभेऽद्य तम्॥
And all the Kshatriyas celebrated in the world, O amiable sister, have come for your hand. O blessed girl, these powerful men will (try to) shoot the mark. Among these (heroes) you shall choose him as your husband who will (be able to) shoot the mark.
